We're pleased to offer trips to all of the world famous waters found in Yellowstone National Park again for 2012. Our Outfitter Tom Travis has been guiding and fishing in Yellowstone Park for over 30 years and we have several other guides on staff that would be happy to share a day in the Park with you. Yellowstone National Park is home to some of the most incredible dry fly fishing for Cutthroat Trout anywhere in the entire country with such famous rivers as the Lamar, Slough Creek and Soda Butte in the Northeast corner. The Madison, Gibbon and Firehole anchor the West End of the Park and provide some excellent early and late season fishing. Whether you're interested in fishing terrestrials in July through September in the Lamar Valley or taking a trip on the Madison Junction in the fall in search of a trophy Brown Trout, we've got you covered. Yellowstone Park is roughly a two hour drive from our headquarters, so we do not offer any half day trips and plan on a full eight hours of fishing on the water and being back home late because we don't cheat you on the fishing time!
The scenery in Yellowstone National Park is unparalleled and sometimes fishing can take a backseat to watching wildlife including Bison, Bears, Moose, Deer and Elk mill around the countryside. A more beautiful backdrop for fishing you simply won't find anywhere else. Couple that with some of the most incredible hatches and terrestrial fishing around and you have the recipe for a trip worth taking while you are staying in Montana. You will be required to purchase a Yellowstone Park Fishing License, which are available at our store, however when you fish with a licensed Yellowstone Park Guide, you will not be required to pay an entrance fee for the day of fishing. This is another trip where we highly encourage our guests to pack along a camera of their own as you will often find yourself looking around wanting to remember everything.
