Fishing Report:
We're still seeing quite a bit of fluctuation in the flows on the Lower Madison lately - seen it jump around quite a bit this past week, who knows where we'll end up this week. One thing is for sure though, fishing has still been decent, although it's been a bit tougher wading around out there with flows at nearly 2300CFS last week and back down to 1,500 now.
We are seeing midge activity on calm days, it's not as warm as it was so the hatches haven't been quite as good - but there's still fish feeding in the shallows. As for the nymphing, guys have been whacking them on crayfish, worms, eggs and midge larvae depending on the day and who you talk to. That's what we have in our Lower Madison winter boxes. That probably won't change for another few months when we start seeing more BWO activity in March/April.
