Josh Cavan has been fishing many of Montana's famous and lesser known trout streams since he was able to carry around a fly rod.

Taught to fly fish at an early age by his father, his passion for the sport grew rather quickly. Josh grew up in Billings, MT and played football for Montana State University, a school that is infamous for its student's frequent absences during major hatches as well as white ski slopes. Josh spent his time learning the intricacies of reading and writing the English language in MSU's English program.

He now enjoys fishing with his wife, another avid angler, and teaching friends and clients the finer details of the sport that he has dedicated his life to.

He hopes in the future to parlay his enjoyment of fishing into his joy for writing and continue to teach pastime that he loves so much.
