Kris, I hope you had a good end of season. I had the pleasure of dropping by your shop this past September and getting on the water with Rick. We had a super day on the water and I really enjoyed his enthusiasm and knowledge of big fish. I saw some, but they did not clamp on the 6" streamer I was chucking. Maybe next time a 7 or 8" model will be in order! I have attached a shot of my dad with one of the fish he landed using a Rick "nymph" (many would call it a rabbit strip sculpin). "If you ain't stripping it it ain't a streamer"....as he says. Steve May |

Wow! Dave was the best! Nothing like experience and total professionalism. Dec 22, Temp near zero, (so cold the camera fogged up!) but the fishing got hot at the end of the day. Could not have hoped for a better Christmas gift. I will remember it always. PS- Great website got my wife to book a trip, and am I ever appreciative. Well run shop all around. | Kris, I'd like to thank you again for an awesome weekend. Yourself and the rest of the staff at Troutfitters could not have been more accommodating. Everyone in my group had a great time and this was due largely in part to your excellent service and preparation. While the float trip may not have produced as many fish as it could have during other times with lower flows, I know people enjoyed the day and a few new fly fisherman were born. | Hey Kris! Here’s a couple shots of our fishing trip! Gary was a great guide- we really enjoyed his instruction and we highly recommend him. We think the “big one” was about 19 inches, although we tell friends it was 24 inches. Thanks for everything. We’ll see you again soon. Mel & Tim |
