You may have thought it would never happen, but the Pighorn has finally dropped a bunch and the bugs have responded resoundingly in the affirmative and the hatches are on. BWO's all over the place (that's right baetis in July - welcome to Disneyland). If you can get past the number of fishermen, the fishing has been fantastic lately and the weeds haven't been a problem, so it's time for a trip to Disneyland if you would like to take a ride with 20"+ rainbows and browns on the Horn. The word is that the bigger fish are sitting on the insides of seams and riffles near the banks still and eating dries, and lot's of guys are doing the hole to hole jockey and missing the best dry fly fishing in years... Oh well, it's the Bighorn so nymphs and indicators are working well too!
