Fishing Report:
The reports from the Big Hole continue to be good, up above Divide though is getting really tough to run anything but a rubber raft, diddo for the lower stuff as well. The river has begun it's final descent to being closed sometime this year again (haha just joking I hope). Flows are dropping by the day as they irrigate the fields, this makes for better wade fishing opportunities and a good reason to leave the boat at home and just take the care and hit the honey holes and head home. Wouldn't count on any more salmonfly fishing this year, it was a great hatch year though. Dry fly fishing, however, is still very good. Smaller patterns like golden stones and the usual assortment of attractors are working. Water temps. are still looking good, quite a change from this time last year. Let's hope the flows hold on and they don't drop to around 150 again this year...
